Songwriting | ‘Away’ (Pt.1)
I write almost all my songs with the music playing in my head…Why? Well singing for me is about connectedness to all parts of myself….it’s the one place I don’t think a lot! If I’m playing instrument while I’m singing I find that I start thinking and don’t get the rush I’m looking for out of it. When I make mistakes while singing and playing the piano it pisses me off even when people aren’t watching, so when I write, alot of the time it’s me, my soul, a book and my voice….and sometimes a camera so that you can see what’s going on.
Songwriting | ‘Come Into Me’ (Pt.1)
This song has been just been such a joy to write. Here is the first vid while I was still in the song writing stage! Since this video the name of the song has changed…it started as “Come Into Me’ (causing many people on FB think a sexual innuendo existed which really detracted from the songs original intention) As the song developed the title and some of the lyrics changed.
