Behind The Veil
I very rarely do private gigs…in fact, last night was the first time I’ve very done one. I was asked by a friend to sing 2 songs acapella for the bride and groom at a Muslim wedding because the religious beliefs of some of the guest prevented songs with melodic instruments. It took a lot of convincing on my friends behalf to get me to do the gig, mostly because I’m not “that kind of a singer” that does weddings etc…but to be honest with you, I was blown away by what I saw and am so grateful for the opportunity to have witnessed what I did last night.
